We distribute a limited number of press passes and media credentials each year. The deadline for registration is June 19, 2013.

Please note: media credentials grant access to festival only and do not grant access to after-parties, kick-off parties or other ancillary events.

Media Policies
Media Policies*

  • Credentials will only be issued for members of the media on assignment. No guests will be permitted.
  • Media are not permitted backstage unless approved and escorted by a member of the Forecastle Festival Media Team.
  • Video is not permitted on festival property. Exceptions to be made on a case-by-case basis and require escort.
  • Media must display credentials at all times.
  • Members of the media are expected to conduct themselves in a courteous and professional manner at all times. Those not adhering to festival policiies may be asked to surrender their credentials and leave festival grounds.
  • Forecastle issues credentials for legitimate journalistic use only. Photos, interviews and reviews are NOT authorized for personal or commercial use and such use is a violation of access issued by Forecastle Festival.
  • If you are selected to cover the event, Forecastle Festival will contact you within one week of the Festival with check-in and specific media instructions.
