The Forecastle Festival will take place at Waterfront Park, part of a scenic, $60 million riverfront investment by the City of Louisville, which attracts 1.5 million visitors a year.

The centrally located VIP hang area is an elevated portion of Waterfront Park situated directly between the two main stages. The area offers impeccable views of the festival grounds, downtown and the Ohio River. Mast and Boom stage viewing areas are also included. These tickets are available in very limited quantities. We will post opening times closer to the festival. Please check back in July for more details.

Those visitors with a General Admission Weekend Pass, VIP Weekend Pass and VIP Single Day Ticket will have re-entry privileges. General Admission Single Day Ticket holders will not be allowed re-entry.

These are separately ticketed events. Full details will be revealed at a later date. Capacity for these events is very limited, so be sure to make plans early.

We are certainly a family friendly event and welcome guests of all ages. Children under 6 will be admitted for free with an adult admission.

To make sure you have everything you’ll need while aboard the ship, please feel free to bring the following items with you:

Pay attention to signage and park only in areas where public parking is permitted. The Forecastle Festival is not responsible if your vehicle is towed.

We also encourage you to ride your bike! It reduces your carbon footprint, provides great exercise, and sustainable transport. We will have a bike valet service available for you outside the main gate.

Also, please travel safe and enjoy the festival responsibly. On-premise, there will be cab or City Scoot services available. We all want to make sure you make it home safely!

All Travel Package elements will be available at the Travel Package will call located at the hotel. Here you will receive your tickets and merchandise. Exact Will Call Location and times will be sent to you within two weeks of the event.

Although you have purchased a travel package the hotel may not have you reservation in their system until 2 weeks before the event. Please contact CID Entertainment to confirm your reservation.

You will receive an email with all of the details in regards to your travel package no later than two weeks before the event. CID Entertainment Guest Services is also available to answer any of your questions before the event via phone or email.

If you need medical attention, we will have two medical tents located on-site as well as a medical team at both the Mast stage and Boom stage. If you can’t make it to one of the medical tents or team, grab an event organizer or member of our security staff, and we will assist you.

It’s important to us that everyone take good care of themselves. Please make sure to eat good healthy foods and drink lots of water! All that dancing can take a lot out of you, so take a break if you don’t feel well.
